We’ve had so many requests for Apricot Trouts that we decided to go ahead and make some. Rather than forcing you to wait the five or six years it will take to purify the color and perfect this strain, we decided to let you hop in on this Apricot journey! This is Year Two of the Apricot Project and we now have all Light Phase (trout) genetics! They still may carry “dusky.” Most of the breeders are double blue (apricot or saxony), but some are still single blue and there are possibilities of brown dilution and white. Their ducklings will be a mixture of:
blue and apricot light dusky
blue and APRICOT TROUT!!
